Custom portraits of pets, animals and people, including fan art
A few words about myself.
As an artist I am fairly new to the world of professional artists, although Art was one of my biggest enjoyments during my school years. A few years ago I decided to pick up my pencils to see if I still held any of the skills I had as a teenager. I immediately found great enjoyment in doing so.

I have been a Dj and music producer by profession for several years. The world of music is quite frenetic and fast paced, and I have always struggled to switch off from my work, and to be able to relax. I quickly realized that allowing myself time to be still, focusing solely on creating a piece of art, was the perfect way to unwind and it gave me another outlet for my creativity.

Many things around me inspire me. Nature, Wildlife, fellow artists. Musicians were an obvious choice for somebody so involved and passionate about music.
Horses have always been a firm favorite of mine. I also really enjoy drawing the sensuous curves and contours of a woman.
Commissioned pieces are always hugely challenging and enjoyable. Being entrusted to produce an original piece of art that is so personal to that person, trying to capture the very essence of a loved one or a family pet. It's always extremely rewarding having worked so hard, seeing the reaction a commissioned piece receives from its new owner. I am a perfectionist and really enjoy trying to get as much detail into a piece as possible and bringing a blank piece of paper to life.

With each new piece I create for my own portfolio, I like to challenge myself in order to improve.
I am looking forward to learning to work with more mediums, recently purchasing Soft Pastels and aquiring a vast amount of oils. I don't believe an artists ever stops learning, or wanting to improve.

I have also completed three pieces that I would classify as Surrealism or Fantasty, and look forward to creating more in this style. There really are no rules when it comes to Surrealism, it's just about exploring your imagination.

I am hoping to be able to loosen the reins on my perfectionist ways in the future though, to be a little more adventurous and creative. I am completely self-taught, visibly seeing improvements with each new piece, so I hope I am able to inspire others to pick up the pencils and enjoy creating some artwork for themselves.

Thank you for stopping by, I hope you enjoy my website.
Feedback is always welcomed.
